House rules
The tray, not a list.
BentoBid is a pay-to-rank leaderboard. Your compartment size follows your bid. Twenty seats. When the box is full, someone leaves.
Tiers
Hero · rank 1
2×2 cell, gold leaf border. One per tray.
Medium · ranks 2–4
2×1 cell. Still easy to read from across the table.
Small · ranks 5–20
1×1 cell. You are on the tray. That still counts.
Bidding
- Every seat starts at $1 — hero, medium, and small.
- To outbid anyone: pay $1 more than their current bid.
- Full tray: your bid must clear the lowest seat. That bidder is evicted.
- Bids are final once the seat is live. Duplicate charges and our faults are covered in the refund policy.
What you can list
A product URL or site, plus one line of 100 characters. Pick the tray that matches. Email is for receipts and eviction notices — it never appears on the box.
The repack
When a bid lands, ranks recompute and the tray settles. Cells resize and slide. The new number one gets a brief gold shimmer. That motion is the product — not a decoration on a table.
